well yes heres the deal i have the monroe part number for a shock that has the threaded stud top and loop bottom i believe there might have to be modification to the loop (remove metal insert) my part store is ordering them there are about 60.00 or so and like my rear i will drill out the air nipple to 1\4 for more flow. the shock that i found compress to 10.75 inches my measurement for the front would need a 11 inch or shorter shock and these are however the book shows them mounted with stud down loop at top rather than stock mazda is stud up loop down. i plan to try them and i cant imagine a problem with rever mounting a shock but will follow up after they are in. i have air shocks on back with relocated shock mounts and with 12 inch shock i tuck 2 inches of a 185 60 r14 and have about 1-1/4 inches of frame to ground in mid section to the back. i have done a few mazdas with air shocks.
