altrnator questions

okay some say that it comes with an internal reg.. do i stay away from those ad just get one that dosnt have one so i can buy my own? or are those internal ones adjustable or somethng cuzit just says internal reg and i dosnt say what volts its at.

internal regulators are fine, just doesnt charge until around 2,000rpm, mine is internally regulated

so if it doesnt charge and you just let it sit there and idle for say an hour will it kill your battery and eventually die?

damn that aint no good. what would be the pros and cons to a smaller pulley on the alt?

Pros: 1,500 rpm instead of 2,000 for the alt to start charging. At max output by 2,000 rpm.

Cons: Stock pully may allow you to rev up to 6,000 rpm. Small pully may overrev the alt at 4,500 rpm.
