Theres some more that I can clean-up but most of it has to stay like that.Especially the fuel lines and heater line setups.I have been relocating stuff, but I have it for sale right now as well.Need a cab plus to throw a car seat in the back of if theres enough space.

hows that motor for a daily?? whats the mpg? just curious

For a daily this motor is great.As far as mpg goes I can't tell yah.I have a heavy foot with this truck. :lol

how do you rate this swap in difficulty, is it a decent swap, or is there alot of hidden "snags" is there a turbo charged version of the 12a, and has anyone tried to do a turbo charged 13b in our trucks yet??

Difficulty on a scale of one to ten I would say a 6 seeing as you need to build mounts and do some wiring.Snags are exhaust issues.Mine has stainless resonators and muffler and is still loud.Also depends how high you want the drivetrain to sit aswell.I have my oil pan notched out so I didn't have to pound the tranny tunnel for clearance.I'd do it agian but with EFI this time.

BlazerPimp theres no 12a turbo, you have to go to a 13b for the turbo version. As for the turboed version in our trucks yes it has been done. Mine is done and a couple others on here are in the works(southernrazed) or done, (just don't remember who else)

for being an ex-mazda dealership technician, im going to sound like an idiot, but i forgot alot of the stuff about rotary engines. Are you all using the 13B out of the last generation of rx7's or the early boxy looking ones?? I want to do an engine swap this winter, and the rotary seems like it would be fun, because i want to be able to drive it to shows still. I dont want to V8 the thing, and i know these rotary engines can turn some nasty numbers.. I guess I should start looking for a used 13B turbo engine. anybody know a KILLER JDM hookup??
