engine knock or tick or something

what would happen if i ignored the tick? just wondering...

With it being a b2000 adjusting the rockers is just part of owning the truck. thats why they went with the hydros in the B2200. But if you left it be you could break a lifter, burn a valve and hurt your gas mileage.
