Hex now that i think about it my problem could just be the accel pump. But if my truck sits for more than a day it is real hard to keep started... like the bowl is empty once it starts i have to rev it pretty high because if it dies it wont start without some help....i keep a can of carb clean in the truck just incase (not a fan of either) . Dammit now im bothered by mine making me think this much is really hurting my head!!

2200 should have an electric pump.Soon as u turn switch on it should power up and pressurize ur fuel system and have gas at the carb ready to start.I think u have a choke problem, not a fuel pump problem.BJ

Ahh, yes, mr. hoc. I stand corrected! Not as familiar with the stock b2200 carb as I'am with the Webers! Lol...

Lol, dirtracer, I believe the carbs have a glass bowl to check your float, give her a look.. Should be on the passenger side, I believe...

Ya, kickinwing, you have a choke problem. With the rough idle at start it is because your engine is'nt warmed up and the fuel is'nt burning well because your truck cant compensate for the mix without the choke, if I'm right, lol...

So if you don't have a choke in your carb, and if hoc says you basically need another carb, I have one in my garage you can have for a price, but I don't exactly know if it is going to work well on other parts. I know the choke worked, lol!
