I am interested in using adjustable air shocks for my mazda because Im not gonna go full out drop it to the ground stuff just want an adjustable ride. What kinda air shocks is the best and most used? and where do you get them and what do you need to run them?

Do you run them like bags? With a tank and compressor? Can you make the ride hieght change on the fly?

Is there a better brand to use when it comes to air shocks? Or will ones for like any car work if you make right mounts? If you use shocks should you also do somethign with rear spring pack to make her sit better?

i ran air shocks on my first mazda before i had hydraulics. my leafs were dearched and when aired out it would lay down on the ground.

my setup was pretty basic. i had a compressor mounted behind my seat next to my sub box. it wasn't fast but it got the job done.

i've seen people use tanks and larger air lines similar to bag setups but i'm not sure how they set them up.

maybe someone else could help you with that.

get your main leaf dearched first

then just run a basic air setup with tank, compressor, lines and valves..and run it to your air shocks....honestly if you really want to play with it and be noticed, you are going to have to buy a tank, compressor, and electric valves

you can get away with using manual home depot valves and a tire compressor, but no one will see you go up and down cause it takes so long

so in the long run, all you are saving is about 70bucks for buying shocks instead of bags

if you do decide to do it, port out the airshock port to raise the airflow, so it's a bit quicker

this is Leif's from Arizona. BD'd on front bags and rear airshocks.

he's probably one of the few that can have airshocks and not get hassled about it, because he had the truck with airshocks all around when the time bags werent in use for trucks yet

Does anyone have a website or maybe a nice diagram that could show me a basix set up? LIke show me all the details of valves, pressure reliefs, tanks and whatever else neeeded to make it work real nice?
