one more thing.. i set my air ride up for a 4 link.. so i'm not compressing the bag fully due to the fact that i don't go as low as i could w/ a link setup.. so you could set it up for the mono leaf and get more lift.. but i would just set it up to upgrade to a link setup.

So what is the diffrence in how u set it up? I'm a little confused on what the diffrences are between set up, aside from the difrence in link systems. But do you weld the brackets diffrentley?
And mullt have u ever rolled around with ur truck static droped, like mine is on the bumps? Cause I want to know if it is as bumpy? I can't really see it getting bumpyer but who knows. I do like the bouncing for obviuos reason but I would like it to be a little smoother then it is now.
Another thing are u notched? can I even run a notch? If I go mono leaf the leaf couldent possibly bend enough for the axal to bottom out on the notch right?
Thanks bro

why is a 2link more dangerous than monoleaf
slammed83mazda   +1y
alot more swaying in the rear end and cant take corners as fast.

i was mono leafed and 2 linked, and the mono leafed was better in my opinion if i took a corner to fast with the 2 link i started to get wheel hop in the rear.

So what is the siffrence? I am still confused on how you would set up your bags diffrently for a monoleaf and for a 4 link? Please someone tell how this differs.
Mullt u said the bag isent be deflated all the way so to set it up for a monoleaf and to get the most lift would I weld the uper bag bracket lower on the notch or what?

which ONE do you leave in to be mono..the main leaf AND take out the overload or can i just take out the overload

leave the main and take out the overload. Its a differnt kind of bouncy.. its like trampoline bouncy... however you don't go flying off the road.. I notched mine.. cause like i said before i have it set up to run a 4 link.. seriously i could cut off the leaf springs and put a 4 link on and drive away. If you were planning on keeping mono.. you will defenatly change your mind about a week after having it setup like that lol. But seriously, you would not need to notch as high, and mount the upper bracket for the bag lower to fully compress.

Got a question on bag set ups man.
I am thinking of geting fbi mins bag set up.
Its the one they advertise in mini truck magazine. Its 999.00 and it come with a notch and brackets, so it seems like a good deal. I am also consoidering a kit from suicide doors.com but there a little more expesive. I'm trying to find a kit that would be good for what I want to do, as far as the monoleaf set up, and eventully going to a 4 link.
Any insite would be great.
Thanks guys

I would go to and ask to talk to Mike Mock. He's a really cool guy and very competitive prices. I get all my stuff from him.. except for my notch bridge kit i got from ssd.. because a friend bought it and wrecked his truck and needed cash.. so i got a holler deal on it. I'm sorry to say that i do not have pics of my truck online. FBI is poopie.. i know the nor cal guys love them.. but i don't. Go w/ SSD or Gravity Werx.
