Alright so the truck got stripped down to the frame today... I gots a few questions now...

1. How much of a BD is it to the rockers? (not the pinch)

2. What do I do about that sill engine x-member?

3. Will I need to lower the motor to clear the hood

Im sure i'll have more!

bro just measure the distance from the bottom of the frame to the rocker or pinch...and that's how much you need

one way to do it would be to lay the truck out on a peice of wood...then measure from that peice of wood to whatever you want to bodydrop it to

thing with mazdas remember, the front crossmember will hit before the frame does in the front, some ppl just drag it off, and some ppl Z it...or u can just bodydrop it crooked so it sits level

Well I figured someone might have a quick exact answer for the measurment.

If the cross member gets dragged off is it gonna cause any issues?... I aint doin no crooked BD.

just dont drag it pass the control arm bolts lol, notice how bagman's front sits and compare it to mine...his is dragged a little bit and notice how much it tucks his 16s compared to mine

you could remove some metal underneath the crossmember and add some on top, u could prolly get half an inch doin that

but im pretty sure 2.25 will get you pinch and 2.75 will get you rocker

2.75 will get you alittle into the rocker if the frame lays hard, 4.75 will get you just to the door, and 8.25 inches will get you 3 inches into the doors with half an inch left over to drag off

yeah i dragged mine up to the bolts...but just the other day i made me some drag blocks to prevent any damage,so it sits a little higher now...but not much
