Cut a piece of metal in whatever thickness you want the spacer to be. Example, you want a 1/2" spacer, cut a piece of 1/2" in the pattern of the balljoint and drill holes to accomodate the bolts. Stick it between the balljoint and control arm and bolt her down.

I'll have to look into this. Think it would be ok to use multiple pieces...like shims of say 1/8" in thickness each? And 3/8"'s equalled an extra inch outside?

Im not sure on how much extra drop you get from JUST flipping the balljoints. Id say 1/2" - 1". Then of course, whatever spacer you use would add more. Some Mazda's need a spacer to lay fully on the crossmember in the front. Bagman has pics of his spacer...maybe he will post them up. I wouldnt suggest using 1/8" spacers stacked up, not sure if it would be bad Id just feel safer with ONE 3/8" piece under there?!

Since I cant directly link to this pic, scroll down towards the bottom of the page and you will see a tag from hoppncavy with a pic of his spacer.
