That bagginit site is biased anyway... The guy who started that site posts on s10forum, and is a complete douche bag. he thinks he knows everything about everything.
"lowered overall vehicle perfomance" WTF Is that supposed to mean? lol
My juice rides better than my bags did. No leaks.. i dont need to worry about fill times. Batteries charge overnight, once every couple weeks. Or if you have a streetcharger, you never have to worry about it.
A hydraulic setup can ride just as good, or better than any bag setup.. Sure if you run no coils, and just cylinders, its gonna ride rough.. Run some nice coils, accumulators, and shocks, and you'll have an amazing ride quality.
No need to worry about valves freezing in the winter.. allthough the system runs a little slower cus the fluid is colder and thicker
The only complaint i have about my hydro's is i have been exoperiencing a problem where im blowing solenoids.. But i think its because of the shoddy home made switchbox that came with the truck. i think the switches are sticking.
Another pro to having juice.. you dont lose suspension travel with big rims, like you do on some trucks with bags..
For example.. On a bagged s10, say on 22s. You need a tall bag cup to untuck those rims enough to turn... BUT, with a tall cup like that, you cant lay out. with hydraulics, you can lay flat out, and lift it all the way up, no problem, because the cylinder comes up into the engine bay.
Some cons of hydraulics
lots of batteries.. makes the truck heavy. most people use a group 31 battery, and there quite heavy.. about 60-70lbs each.
cylinders are big, So it can be harder to make everything look clean, like you can with bags.. you can hide your whole system under the bed.. its a little harder with hydros.
Both bags and juice have their place. I just dont understand why people always talk shit about hydraulics, without knowing the facts..lol
