i like em both, only rode in one car with dros and it rode like caddy

my truck is on bags and it handles like a sports car, it's like it's on rails.... i wish my cav handled as well in autox as my truck

yes but that yota is completly gutted with 4 nitrogen bottles and 1" valves..im not going to arague about this cuz its an opinion.yes droz originated from lowriders in the lates 60's and look where we are now.bags was just an alternative from droz and air shocks and it stuck.and yes i have the same problem with people calling my truck a lowrider...technically it is a lowrider cuz it rides low haha, but its not its a mini truck that i want standing out from the majority.hydraulics started out the same way back in the day.they were slow and unreliable, just like bags in the early 90's.bags started with manual valves and 1/4" lines and no tanks just straight compressors.now look where bags are, they are launching old chevy'y and yota and flipping dakota's.but it all started with juice.honestly i prefer the look of droz cuz i like the machanical look.sounds like a robot when it goes up and its frikkin awsome listening to it dump(yes you can actually here it dump).

Scroll down, you'll see an Air vs. Juice pros/cons type thing..

thanks for your input but now i really need to know about much a hydro setup costs, how much are the pumps, and all that stuff.

between $800 to $1200 for two or four pump setups with out batteries

That bagginit site is biased anyway... The guy who started that site posts on s10forum, and is a complete douche bag. he thinks he knows everything about everything.

"lowered overall vehicle perfomance" WTF Is that supposed to mean? lol

My juice rides better than my bags did. No leaks.. i dont need to worry about fill times. Batteries charge overnight, once every couple weeks. Or if you have a streetcharger, you never have to worry about it.

A hydraulic setup can ride just as good, or better than any bag setup.. Sure if you run no coils, and just cylinders, its gonna ride rough.. Run some nice coils, accumulators, and shocks, and you'll have an amazing ride quality.

No need to worry about valves freezing in the winter.. allthough the system runs a little slower cus the fluid is colder and thicker

The only complaint i have about my hydro's is i have been exoperiencing a problem where im blowing solenoids.. But i think its because of the shoddy home made switchbox that came with the truck. i think the switches are sticking.

Another pro to having juice.. you dont lose suspension travel with big rims, like you do on some trucks with bags..

For example.. On a bagged s10, say on 22s. You need a tall bag cup to untuck those rims enough to turn... BUT, with a tall cup like that, you cant lay out. with hydraulics, you can lay flat out, and lift it all the way up, no problem, because the cylinder comes up into the engine bay.

Some cons of hydraulics

lots of batteries.. makes the truck heavy. most people use a group 31 battery, and there quite heavy.. about 60-70lbs each.

cylinders are big, So it can be harder to make everything look clean, like you can with bags.. you can hide your whole system under the bed.. its a little harder with hydros.

Both bags and juice have their place. I just dont understand why people always talk shit about hydraulics, without knowing the facts..lol

Have you run your truck in autox with bags? Any videos of it? I am trying to see if static drop or bags on a b2000 work on the autox course. I need something that is comfortable on the road, but can still handle on the course.
