that really wont tell you anything Dale, because some mazda's are at different heights with stock setup, thats why you just have to use judgement, and go from there, the height you are now minus 3"...plus the weight of the vehicle give a little....i'd personally go with 4" blocks, because you got quite the gap there, and 4" blocks plus the weight of your truck itself, will give it a really nice stance in the rear....someone else truck with 3" blocks will give you an idea...but nothing to what yours will look like, just my opinion

Ya I hear that. I'm just not ready to save for bags now so I wanna drop her down to a noticable height. And I do drive to the cottage and rough roads so I don't wanna break my back on the drive .

What do others suggest under my circumstance?

(thanks madmazda )

well considering its a mazda, any rough roads gunna be bumpy as hell...feels like its gunna fall apart. lol, personally, you drive around town more often then to the cottage, and i would consider driving slow on the way...but its your choice, i'd go with the 4", you'll still have more then enough clearance to get to the cottage, and run on rough roads, as long as you dont plan on rock climbing to your cottage, lol....Get Low Bro. lates

Ya true. I just don't wanna bottom out my suspension. I wanna carry some stuff in the back when I go camping tho, so I wanna know the best drop for my truck without making it useless for a "truck" purpose .

thats true on the heights of the trucks cause i have 3 inch blocks and two centers taken out and mine sits lower than that in the back i am all the way down in the front and now bumps front or rear but i also have an 8 inch step notch...

size of your rims and tires also makes a huge difference. you could run a 14 or 15" wheel with a 50 profile tire and the thing would sit on the ground (well, pretty close),or you could run an 18 with like a 35 series rubber and you'd be sitting like a 4x4 still.

There's a young guy down the road from me with a sweet ass Mazda reg cab long box all done up,and when I was getting some parts from him I asked him about his suspension and he runs AIM drop spindles on the front, and he has like 2.5" of ground clearance, and in the back he runs a 3" block with 2 leafs removed, and he has 15" Centreline rims with a 50 profile on the front and a 55 on the back and it sits loooooow. It's exactlt how I want mine to sit with a static drop. Really low,but still driveable.

...oh yeah and as you know,we live in the boonies and he drives it everyday.
