Hey everyone. Ive noticed everyone seems to have nothing smaller than 195.50.15s as far as 15" rubber goes? Im used to having 205.60.15s on my pathfinders, and the ride is ok. I also have cranked bars & a 3" block.

What is everyones thoughts on the 195 45 15 size? Is there any smaller rubber out there for 15s? The only problems i could see would be the high rpm and the ride..but i could care less. how do you find your 50 series?

Im thinking of putting a mono leaf set and reindexed bars that i got from my buddys b2200 with airshocks in the back, and running the 45 rubber. Opinions? thanks

that would look way to small...thats just my opinion.....

While we're on this topic, yeah I think a 45 is too small, but I also have Pathfinders and I have tires ready to order. I am planning to get a 50 series, but what would be the best for my application? A 50 or 55? I do lots of highway driving (50+mph constantly) and my truck only gets 400km to a tank as it is.

A slightly larger tire the 55 will be best....it will give you better ride comfort, better fuel mileage, and keep the speedo closer to correct. Plus it will fill out the fender a bit more.

Yeah,I was kind of second guessing myself about the 50s. I think 50s would probably be better if I truck was bagged. Plus I drive on some pretty rough country roads,so maybe the 55 is my best bet. Maybe they'll also be a tad cheaper than a 50? The 50s I was looking at were $110 each.

squarebody Rangers are cool, and those wheel are sick! is that truck bagged or static?

oddly enough 55 series are about the same as 50 series tires....but 110 a piece for a non performance tire is steep...I payed 185 for 215/35/18's in the new kumhos fro the front of my truck. And when I bought 195-50-15's for my gti last time they were 390 including tax for 4....for hankooks.
