joshbrennan, where did you get that pic from or who sells that notch? I would still recomend welding in that notch (at least tacked) but thats a sweet basic notch that looks like it easy to install.

that's from suicide doors.

well,Monday my front bumpstops are going to come out. I think we'll just hack off the brackets since I'll probably bag the truck next winter. I'll see what kind of a difference that makes, then go from there. My truck is so low right now,I can barely get into my own driveway.

you can remove your front bumpstops and rear bumpstops. if you crank your torsions down enough, or remove them altogether like i did, you'll be rollin low for sure. i had a 3" block and the main and overload leaf in this pic and thats how low it was. no drop spindle or notch or anything just stock running gear. i had a little travel in the back but nothing in the front.

when we talk about removing the front bumpstops,is it just the large ones that stop the LCA? I saw 2 small round ones on the UCA,and they were bottomed out too. Do I leave those,or do I get rid of everything.

My torsions are cranked all the way down, but the truck sits like it's bottomed out, which it is. The back isn't low enough for me either.

Hell,it's not low enough until I bag it,lol.

Remove them all. Keep them handy though I rode on mine when my torsion bolt broke lol...was bouncey but she got the job done

not torsions no bumps, mono leaf five inches of block and a cnotch.

yessssss....that is sick! Same wheels and looks like about the same size tires I run.

That thing has got to ride like all sorts of ass though!

Anyone have pics of a c-notch done on their truck?

wow your shit's really low. impressive! hows it ride?

when you say five inches of block... are you stacking your blocks?

I went with a 3" block because I heard people say that any larger is even more unsafe, and can cause driveshaft alignment problems.

Would it work if I took my t-bars out,but just trimmed my bumpstops,or replaced them with smaller ones?
