has any of you seen a doubletrianlger 4 link on anything other than a four wheel drive I seen one an a tv show (x-trem 4 wheeldrive) they put it on the back of a trail rig they were building said it would have all kinds of articulation looked bad arse just a thought you know mini truckers look at everything and think that could be on my truck

do you mean double triangulated 4link as in 2 separate 4links on one axle? or a 4link on the front axle and another one on the rear axle?

I thin khe mean a setup where both the upper s and lowers are triangulated...

oh! didn't think of that one! seems unstable to me, but that's what they make sway bars for, right?

the reason why double triangulated 4 links are good on 4x4 is the give great side to side articulation, I am not sure if a bagged truck could use that much articulation.

personally i don't think it's necessary, unless you think its cool to lay out on the drivers door like a daddy's customs truck!!!

yeah it would be a whole lot of articulation (talking bout this and i was thinking of a two link thats the way the mind works)

would be different and you would have major articulation prolly a lot more then you really need

Yea, you'll have plenty of unusable articulation, but thats the least of your worries. This type of 4 link is not suitable for a minitruck. Your roll center could cause some crazy body roll, and roll steer will be an issue as well. Its a pretty strong system, and provides plenty of lateral support, but I'd never do it.

if you were set on doing this suspension, you could rig up quick disconnect sway bars... a must-have for street, but if you are goin to a show or something and wanna show off your articulation you could disconnect the sway bar and lay door... sideways!
