I'm trying to get a list together of everything I need for a air bag set up on my 93 2200 but I don't really know where to start. If anyone has anything please post it up. I'm trying to get a list of EVERYTHING I'd need.

Also, what kind of set up would I be looking at if I just wanted to get pretty damn low on my 15's. I'm not really looking at dragging or anything yet.

I see grantkustoms.com offers 3 price ranges of bags, which ones would I be looking into with what I'm doing?

well u will need
4 bags
4,6, or 8 valves
tank
compressor/compressors
pressure switch
toggle switches/switch box
air line & fittings
its nice to have some type of gauge
torsion bag brackets
some type of link system is the best way to go in the ass end.
some type of notch.

here's what I think you'll need for a fast system
4, bags 1/2 inch port bags
8, 300psi valves 1/2 inch
2, 200 psi gauges dual needle
1, 200 psi single needle
165 to 200 pressure switch
2, 480 viar compressors
all dot fittings
2, water traps
switch box
8 gal tank or 12 gal tank
50 feet of 1/2 line
50 feet of 1/8 line
1 soleniod
8 to 10 inch step notch
torsion bag bracket kit
front shock re locating kit
4 link [super lift kit from SD]
rear bag bracket kit that mounts on bottom 4 link bar
rear shock re locating kit
toggle switches
8 gauge or 4gauge wire
drop spindles if you go big rims
some loom and quality connectors


well thats what I've got in my truck except I have on order soon a set of cando control arms and a scuba tank from a local scuba shop.

You don't really need a list! If you just go to





when you're ready and pickup one of thier complete systems....

Then all you need are some bags, link bars, notch, bag mounts, fittings and you should be set!

Unless you are doing a Bag over Axle then you will need a bridge kit of some sort....

Shoot I dunno what I'm doing now. I'll probably start with bagging the front just to see how I like it and all then continue to the rear once I have that straight.


What would be my best bet for the rear? I don't want it to be some crazy ass custom project, just a simple bagging to lower it. I don't even mind if I don't touch the ground with anything right now.

The simplest thing to do if you want to BAG the rear would be a BAG OVER AXLE!

If you wanted to you could mono-leaf it (poor-man's 4-Link) not the best route, but then you save money and don't have to buy link bars!

Then you could simply fab a bridge kit up yourself or buy one for a decent price:



And a notch wouldn't be a bad idea at this time either:



Then some bags to slap in there, and your bag'd!

It's not confusing, I'm just trying to learn a lot quickly and possibly bag it before summer. Any links to like the most well explained site on bagging one of these things? A tech write up would be awesome.

Yea I saw that one. Not really as in depth as I'd like. I'm used to tuning little hondas and stuff dealing with going faster, I've never had to chop up parts before. This is deffinitly something completely different than what I'm used to.
