Well,I got some AIM spindles, and spent a good chunk of the day with v8mazda installing them.

Result: Ride quality is fantastic and fixed my massive negative camber issue, which was chewing up my brand new 2 week old tires. The insides are like slicks!!

Negative points: Pushed the wheels WAY out. We lowered the truck off the jack and the tires were hitting the fenders. I did about 16 turns of the torsion bars to crank em up a bit and I got enough clearance to stick 2 fingers, one ontop of the other between the tire and fender. As we drove home, every bump and turn made the tires rub on the fenders,so we had to pull over and yank on the fenders to make a little clearance. After we did that they were alright, and only rubbed a couple times on some big bumps and some sharp turns.

I'm running a 205/50/17 tire,so it's not really that wide,but with how much they've moved out,going to 4x4 fenders doesn't seem like a bad idea at all.

Otherwise, the spindles and ball joints installed and fit very well. The spindles are very heavy and look very strong, and the ball joints are really beefy.

Overall,I am very impressed, because now my camber is corrected and the ride is much, much better, but we're just trying to figure out what to do about the rubbing and the torsion bars.

The spindles them selves are not any bigger it's just the way they are made they push the rim out 3/4 of an inch father out thats why you need to go with the 4x4 fenders and or get wheels with huge backspacing.

did you buy them new? and if you did, did ball joints come with em

Ran into the exact same problem with the daughters truck. I liked the geometry with the spindles, but probably would not have been able to tuck even with the 4x4 fenders (part of fender just above buldge is the same as the 2x4 fenders).

New ball joints do come with AIM spindles (new lower ball joint points up, not down like stock)

I bought them from another member on here, but they had never been installed.

I put the 4x4 fenders on today and still, the tire is extremely close to the fender lip.

I also need to go get an alignment because it pulls to the right like mad. I have the steering wheel at like full lock to the left just to keep it straight on the highway, lol.

When you get an alignment make sure you tell the guy what you need to achieve. After you can either cut or roll the lip of the fender. Minitruckin' had a good article on how to roll fender lips. A baseball bat really does work well.
