I have done plenty of research into this, and there is NO easy solution. I just bought some coilovers for a toyota - and am going to start to bend shit and weld shit. and bend some moer shit - see what I can make work.

With using the torsion bar lift, is there enough room for the stock control arms to hang down to give you the 2" lift? Do you have to remove the stock control arm stops? What is the length of the stock shock? At what point in the lift will you have to change the shock?

Im interested in fitting a 31 without any major fab work.

if your current shock isn't limitimg the amount of travel that it will travel you should be OK - BUT if it is topping aout at all you will wear the shock quickly. You also have some very good questions, sorry I am not able to answer them tho - I was just passing along what I had found in my research.

Pepehn, what did you do to lift yours and what size tires are you running now?

Well, as you can see in the pictures..drank a whole lot of Jagermeister and.. ..... .. haha.

But in all seriousness, The back is stock, and the front..the torsions are almost maxed out (counted the number of half turns i made..but just cant remember right now..its wrritten down somewhere. lol. There is still the width of my index finger my bars can go up still..so maybe like 10 half turns or so.

I run a 235 75 15 which works out to be close to a 29" tire (28.8 i think) I took my truck out in the mud a bit just to see if anything would rub or anything, and the back is totally cool, but the front..the tires are a bit too big..they rub the inner fenders, and fender lip but not bad.

Tommorow im thinking i might to roll my front fenders, and put my bars up as far as theyll go..or maybe just a bit higher.. we'll see.
