i found an 82 toyota in the scrap yard, would i be able to use the parts from it?

i have the yota spindles and yota axle from an 88, i dunno about using parts off of an 82. i think they used different components.the only problem i ran into using the yota spindles was the tie rods.mazda rods are smaller and wobble around in the hole.so i hacked the threaded end of the mazda rod and welded it to the pivot end of the yota rod then braced it and drilled pins into it to make sure it doesnt come apart.

ok well the 82 is a no go. the front stuff is gone and its a 6 lug so no point in swappin that one but there is a 91 4 trucks over! so im thinkin ill grab the balljoints, spindles, calipers, hub, rotors, tie rods and the rear axle. does this sound like itll work?

ru still looking for toyota spindle setup?i have a 90 front setup if interested?
hybrid   +1y
a 91 would be perfect,im about to sell my whole front set up and axle,i have to get a different axle cuz of my v8 and i bought cando control arms and drop spindles so i wont be needing it anymore. but watch out using brakes off of a junker cuz the cailpers might go out on you or might be locked up. your prolly better off just buying new rotors and cailpers to just be safe

yea thats what i figured. i grabbed it all just cus it was easier but im only goin to use the spindle, maybe the hub, ill repack the bearings if theyre good, and the rotor is pretty new so ill machine it to give it a nice new surface
