well ive read alot on here and never posted. so here goes my first one.

i have a 93 b2200, i also have a 80 something s10 frame. how would swaping the front clips and rear axel do in my favor? ill get the 5 lug conversion, and also be able to run barley legal control arms to get down over 22's and stock spindles. im not going to bd it as i want a good tire since ill drive it alot. let me know what everone thinks. i think its the best way to do the front that ive figured out.

the only problem is if you are going to drive it lots I would drop down to a 18 for daily driving it and the 22 for shows or the sunday drive. But i think you are on to something with the front end swap but think of using a toyota front suspension and the rear end.

the s10 idea i think is better
1.) its something different
2.) if the components are th v6 parts they are much stronger than toyota.

That is true but he is talking about changing the whole front clip. not just the control arms but everything from the front cab mounts up or that is what I get from what he wrote.

what would the toyota front get me that the s10 wouldnt?
yea im going to do a whole front clip swap. and the front clip will acually be from a v6 s10.

the way i was thinking to do it would be to cut the front off infront of the cab of both. then make sure the center of my from the s10 is the same as what the mazda was before i cut it. by measuring to the body mounts. then cut off the fram horn and put the mazdas frame horns back on.

that way EVERYTHING would bolt back up perfectly.

hows that sound? plus im in love with the barely legal arms, and if i put thows with stock spindles i should get more then enough lift to clear the 22's, and stay awya from 4x4 sheet metal.

yea s10 would be better also because it has actual control arms not lowers and uppers with tie rods. theyre adjustable and easier to find parts for.

are the widths of the frame going to be the same or close to the specs of a mazda? id be worried about having the distance from spindle to spindle being wider. but it sounds like a good idea, s10 parts are everywhere and cheap as dirt too.

good luck
