maybe think about redoing your upper bag bracket.

theres no brackets in or anything its all stripped and bare. It is hitting on the pivot of the lower arm and thats where it is holding me up. Should i just trim that bump on my frame all the way down so my arm can travel?? Ive seen the bump trimmed even with the frame but read that if you trim it too much that it will weaken everything on the other side?? Is this true and is it possible to see some pics of the front. Ive tried to search as much as i could and found some info but now all of what i was looking for. i know its there somewhere but just haven't found it yet.

so from what i gather from the last post, the lower arm is binding or bottoming out on the bump stop mount keeping you from layin out......
i wouldn't trim into the lower arm to aleviate this problem, rather remove the bump stop mount. when you cut the mount off, don't cut it so close as to cut into the frame, or it will definately be weakend, you can weld on a piece of plate in its place along the frame rail to strengthen it if you wish, but if removed properly i wouldn't think you would need to weld a piece of plate on it......
