What kind of shocks are people running with bags??? all i need is something decent that gives a nice ride, rear is bags on bars. I don't need something really expensive just something decent.

A lot of ppl run Toxic Drop Shocks...

I personally am running some Monroe Sensatracs....

Ive got a bag on bar setup as well....

They weren't too spendy but they give an awesome ride.

on my bagged yota i had stock shock (not size) from autozone, they were $ 13.99 each with a lifetime warranty, something you cant go wrong with ya know? i have toxics on my dawg but for the money i dont think they are worth it.

i thought it would make a big difference on the ride with the shocks. i want as smooth ride as possible. and is it a bad idea to not run shocks up front??

a proper suspension setup includes shocks. period.
i have bags on bars in the rear of mine and i got the cheapest shocks i could find (happen to be off a VW bug front) and they are nice and soft. some people would think too soft, but whatever. for my front i'm running stock shocks for a mazda b series... just a KYB shock. cost around 80 for the pair.

so i can use my stock shocks and it shouldn't roughen up the ride too much??
speedster93b   +1y
a shock won't ever 'roughen up a ride'... no.
i am using stock shocks because they get the proper amount of travel for where i mounted them on the control arm. it all depends on where you mount it. optimally as close to the lower ball joint as possible will give the best effect.

so for the front i should have them as far out as possible on the lower arm?? and what about the top should i have it as close to the frame as possible or have it more verticle then on a diagonal??
