here are a few different videos of rear set-ups

The video is great for a very basic example of why certain setups are don't work... but in all reality you dont want both the upper and lower bars to be parallel from a side view... you want them to intersect at some imaginary point towards the front of the vehicle... blah blah blah I could go on all day, and in a very limited travel setup a 50 / 50 will hod the pinion close enough to work. But it will not provide the proper traction and burnouts will be nice and easy to do... And as for a rearward setup... well If you really want to play with your life and everyone else s life then thats the setup for you....deathtrap.

The 50/50 Works great I have no problems. It must be a Canadian thing dude

I can say that using a 50/50 setup is alright for limited travel like mine (mini notch with bag over axle), except when completely aired out, I get driveline vibration. Also, the trucks rear pitches a little to one side when I hit the gas and the other when I let off. Any input would help, but I'm going to try adjusting the heim joints first. In my opinion, forward link FTW!

that video is a VERY basic idea behind it. however... you want pinion change, you want your bars to "intersect" at one point, a reverse 4-link WILL effectively stop your truck, etc... 50/50 however is just wrong, there's NO geometry to it and there's NO way to make it work in any way outside of "holding your axle in place"
