Well either way, reindexing the torsion bars will put some resistance back into the twisting of the bars so it doesn't bottom out as easily.

well either way badchicn and gravity are right... the torsion bar flexes only so much, it doesn't matter what position it is 'clocked' at. reindexing is only necessary if you go so low (or high) that you run out of threads (or almost out of threads) and you still wanna go farther.
say your have only 2 threads still in the adjuster unit for your torsion bar... that's unsafe, so you'd wanna re-index the bolt so you have a safe amount of threads in the adjuster nut.

i did it and she dont ride ANYTHING like stock. its low and i like it but it rides pretty rough at times.
