so after purchasing two new batteries for the rear ive realized that the wiring in this truck is ass backwards, and im not a hydraulics expert by any means.
so my question is does anyone know how to wire up a two pump system?
just to let you know how hacked this thing is, the quick disconnect is for the positive terminal

ive tried the layitlow forums, but their answers arent so clear.
anyone here have some advice?

heres some pictures...

battery that runs the hydraulics now...

power to solenoids, the wire runnung towards the top of the picture is for the deadly quick release, and the one into the bed is for the other pump...

Something that the above diagram does not include is the solenoid wiring. For your setup (24v), for your switch wiring I would run the switches at 24V with the power wire to the switches fused at the batteries. The added voltage allows the solenoids to closer quicker with less arcing (they last longer) and also provides additional power to the dumps. A stuck solenoid happens now & again - ultimately, your line pressure will be 5,000 to 7,000 psi and 12v with a 14-16 gauge wire will not be enough power to open the dump and release the pressure.

Will try and follow this thread. Have extensive experience with hydros. Have build or been involved with nearly 100 setups rangeing from 24V 2 battery show setups (like mine) to 120V 10 battery compitition hoppers. Let me know if you need any help.

Also, don't leave the disconnect on the +. Bad news!!!!

Are you good with wiring diagrams? Can create a custom one just for your setup.

did you get it figured out yet?

that would be awesome man, i stared at it for a little bit today
and im thinking its just best to take it all back to square one.

a wiring diagram would be a big help, that way atleast i know its done right the first time,

heres some pictures of the pump setup under the bed...

If I see things correctly, it would appear you have 2 pumps. One for the front, which I assume is under the bed with a single dump and the accumulator. The other pump in the bed appears to have 2 dumps on it and is probably connected to the back. Let me know if this is correct.
