i wouldnt use dope, i dont like the idea of goop around my valves, it can gum em up, i use teflon tape but i use the yellow tape not white, works wonders, its muich thicker, a lil more expensive but is way worth it.

air for the compressors

nah, seriously, a spray bottle with some soapy water to check for leaks at your fittings!

okay good deal. and i cant buy in bundle because everytime i get a lump of cash something happens like accident or crazy unexpected bill. i have to buy little at a time or not at all. and if im goin to need flow controls even with 3/8's valves then ill just go all 1/2 and get flow controls all the way around. how does this sound?

Thats like contradicting yourself man, why buy bigger valves if your just gonna put slow downs on the dumps isnt that defeating the purpose in a bigger valve.

3/8" will be plenty fine at 150psi.

yeah i would do 3/8 all around. you can get 8 3/8 smc from sd for 219.95 with free shipping. that will save you around $100 plus the price of the slow downs.

i have good luck with white teflon tape. you just have to know how to use it properly. there's a right and wrong way to put it on....
dump controls are so not necessary, you just need a quick finger. go with 10mm valves all around. it'll be plenty fast for you.

the whole dope or tape deal i am a pipe fitter installing sprinklers in buildings we like to use dope first then tape on top one works just as good as the other but together i have never seen a leak
