Ahhh the good old days of static drops. My dawg was 1/2 off the ground at the front crossmember and 1/4 off the ground at teh real leaf perches. I drove it like that daily until I ended up dragging through my gas tank and all of the bottom welds on my frame crossmembers! I decided it was time to upgrade to airshocks. That was back in 1993 or 94. I will see if I can dig up some pics...

Notches are your friend.I love mine.It even has a nice ride.

2" drop pindles, flipped ball joints, wound down torsions, removed front wheel wells, 2" blocks, 4" reset leaf springs and notched, still has full travel all round so a nice ride, dont get caught up on too much except speed bumps and steep driveways

yes it is. iv broken 2 sterio instal kits in the last 2 months. but that wont happen any more unless my welds dont hold up
