You guys don't ever hang your "u-bolt plate" on things? I had a 4.5 inch block in the back of my 1980 Toyota on 205/40/16s and I used to drag them on everything.
SO I am surprised no one has mentioned the camber problems I got my truck with 3" blocks and mono leafedand it had the worst vibration in the driveline so I got 4" angle cut blocks and added the leafs back and it went away and sits the same height but I have been debating on pulling the leafs again once I get my bridge in just wondering if anyone else has done this and if it has a pinion problem or if it rides good.
my biggest peave is the issue on running big ass blocks. you cant go so far till the rearend hits the frame. all you doing is pushing your leafs and plates closer to the ground. you static people arent listening to the older guys that know what to do. yall just stacking a ton of blocks and making unsafe trucks. this is not to all guys and im not on my high horse, i just cant stand 4 or more inch blocks. its unneccessary. if mono leafing is an issue, buy aftermarket leafs. monoleafs are safer than 5 inches of blocks. ok im done ranting.
I like my 3 or 4 notches on the torsions, and 3" blocks out back with main and overload leaf. Drive around like an old guy and get stuck on the gas station turtles (tank fill things)
if you mean by true mono leaf just running the main spring then yes i am and since i took those big tires off this week i get stuck all the time oh well just an excuse to bag the truck so now its time to get off here and go get some air line so i can get started
