isuzu shocks and stock rear shocks are too tall for this drop
ordered doetsch tech shocks that are shorter

wow how much were those.

they are reasonable!
and I have always heard they are the best though I have never tried them myself.
Hard for me to get where I live at a decent price I would rather move the shock mount, than have a stiffer ride, but I am bagged, I want it to ride like a caddy.
To each their own.
I am to old to be chipping teeth hittin potholes now, lol

more than I wanted to spend after spending $90 on brand new monroes and having them be too tall

they are also stiffer than I would like (I think mostly the rear since there's no weight back there) as I had 4 bags of mulch in the bed today and it seemed smoother, although I didn't go very far. I may put the mulch back in tomorrow and go for a ride and see how it does, then just keep some weight in the bed.

I was in need of a short shock quickly and the doetsch tech had the measurements I needed.

what shocks are you guys using?
please give brand/part number and measurements if possible

I could be a little lower if I had smaller wheels and/or tires. I'm running one of the bigger tires of all the trucks in the thread, 215/45/17
most seem to be on 14s or 15s with low pros

nah 215/45/17's is what I'm runnin too, I wanted to go with a 205/40/17, but I'm scared I'd mess up my rims with all the bad roads here in Chattanooga

the doetsch tech were too stiff for the rear so I did some more research and found the perfect rear shock if you are real low. I just bought it and put it on and it's the ride I was looking for.

monroe 32207 11.25" compressed 17.875" extended

I started with the 31094 listed at 12" and 19" but it actually bottoms out at 14"
then I bought the doetsch techs, but were too stiff
and now have the 32207 and it's perfect

hope this saves someone the trouble of buying 3 different sets of shocks
luckily I can take the first monroes back for a refund

I am not the lowest but pretty low. In the front, 2" drop control arms & reindexed torsion bars. In the rear, 3" drop blocks & 2 leaves removed. Rollin on Esclades with 205/40/17's but will be changing to 215/409/17's for a better ride on these crappy streets.

i would drop my truck in the back more but im putting slapper bars on my truck so there will be no ground clearance if i lower it
