Want to find out everything i need to know about z'ing the frame...i know cut and allow the frame to lay out and all that...Id like to know how big of a Z to do, like just enough to clear the lower control arms or allow more ? Any input on this would be appreciated as i know its not all that difficult just wanna be sure. Thanks in advance

Hey jered, my trucks only maybe max 1/2" in need of z-ing the frame for the entire frame to lay out. As the front crossmember hits first this is what causes the front part of the frame not to lay and needed to be z'd for.

damn^^^ mine drags lower control arms. haha. i welded 2- 1/4" plates together and then welded them to the front cross member. i don't know how much it needs to be z'd as mine has already been all jacked up. got any pics of the courier bro?

I can drag control arms if I jack the rear and bury the front lol....

Yeah i know why it needs to be Z'd and how its done. Im doing a 20 up front and was just wondering about how much of a Z it was actually going to need and take because i know they damn near lay out with no Z ....Thanks for all comments
