Well for some info on it, they are uni-ball arms and 20x8 up front and 20x10 out back

just saying "how much to lay a 20" doesn't really help anyone... you can get different size tires from 25.3" tall on up... so it depends on your tire size...
if your running uniballs and custom a arms you should be able to lay that thing out without z-ing the frame. besides, will you lower your motor after you z it, or raise the tranny up into the floor? you'll need to do one or the other to keep it at 3degrees pos in front.
why cant you just build a new lower control arm crossmember if that's the problem you guys are running into?

The crossmember is there to stay....Having custom arms doesnt mean its not gonna lay beneath the member in every application...and yeah im aware or tire sizes as im going with a 225/30/20 up front...im aware or all of these facts....i was just curious of what other people have done with this years body style frame as i havent seen a lot out and body dropped...no need for smart remarks i was just curious on what other people were doing

look dude, just asking questions to try to help u out.
find a hint of sarcasm in my comment and i'll give you a high five. make that 2 high fives. it was to the point. i told you the points that i was unclear about and you responded with answers. i just don't see the necessity of z-ing the frame - especially when your doing all this long travel prep. do the lower a-arms hang below the rest of the frame or what? just trying to save u time... but sorry. don't get all butt hurt.

i do see my mistake, slammed83 said his crossmember hit before he lays out, and i forgot you had a courrier, not a mazda... i assumed it'd be the same.

Dont mistake yourself man, they are the same. Aside froma different grill and rear bumper and I believe the motor there the same, crossmember will hit before the frame.

This is as low as it would sit before I would plate my frame, Because my oil pan comes damn close to the ground. As you can see the gap between the frame and the ground this is being caused by the crossmember hitting before the frame. Dragging through the crossmember is not an option. You can see you would barely have to Z the frame. But at this picture my rock is less than 3/4" from the ground so I dont see why "laying out on 20s" would be a problem because the front crossmember is buried and the rear frame is also.

I only drug control arm when I used to get about 11" or more of lift in the rear and I would jack the rear and bury the front.
