You'll want to cut this part a flat as you can with the side of the frame, then cut and weld a plate to fit in the open area. try to get you bags as close to the frame as you can without them rubbing so you can get the most lift. also you might need to notch the "U" part of the lower control arm.

Thats my next step in the morning is to cut that out. The spot that hits is lower than that thow? Down at the very narrow part were the torsion bolt is on the back of the arm. I will do a search on here to see if i can find pics I was also looking at steping were the lower balljoint goes to help get it up there.

If your control arm is hitting lower you are better off making the "U" on the control arm a little wider and deeper towards the balljoint to clear. I'm soory the place I highlighted above was to get your bag in close to the frame. I would only flip the lower balljoint not step the control arm, stepping the arm you might have clearance issues with bag. My truck lays frame (front crossmember is half drug through) on 215/35/18's with just flipped lower balljoints and notched LCA's.

I really didnt want to rebuild the lower arm I still cant find any pics of the front. I didnt look at the cross member i was looking at the frame rail and it didnt look like it was going ti lay.... I will flip both balljoints and drop it on the ground and see where it is.

mazdas wont lay full frame unless you Z the front end.

I had 6 inch slams and noticed those holes didnt line up, then when I got my 7s they all line up perfect.. I still need to learn exactly where to put the top plate in.

Is this what i have to do to get it to lay frame without using the drop spindles?

But do it on both sides?

That my picture above. I cut a piece of 1/2" plate to use as a spacer under the front of the bag plate, and the rear of the plate is welded to the arm. I just use the center bolt hole, and I used a 1" hole saw to cut a hole int he bottom of the arm, its about big enough to get a 9/16" socket up through the arm. The spacer int he front keeps the bag plate above the balljoint, which is flipped to the top of the arm to make it lay. Flipping the balljoint is just about necessary to make these trucks lay on all stock components with about a 25" tall tire.

Also, if you get RE6 bags all those holes will line up.

Don't cut back into the frame like you have marked. Just cut everything parallel with the frame, straight down, and box the small hole that it leaves. The cut the lower arm so that it can travel up farther. When you jack it up you will see where it hits the frame. Cut it until the control arm travels up high enough.
