hey thanx for resizing that pic thats exactly how i wanted it. i just woke up and its like 2 degrees outside but im gonna fire up the heater and go out to the garage and pull those spacers ill keep you guys posted and let you know if that straightens up my problem.

ok guys, so i pulled the spacers out and my bags look like they wont rub anymore. but now im about 1.5 inches away from laying out. im runing a 16 inch rim right now but they have huge tires (24") so i think when i put my 205/40 tires on i will prolly lay out again. but now my bags look even worse when colapsed. the bottom of the bag is nowhere near parallel with the top. so to fix this i have to reangle my upper mount i think... ill get some new pics up asap.

i think what twisted was saying is that the bottom mount needs to be reworked since the bag is just partially on the mount, which could cause the mounting bolt to fail since the bag is in a bind...so you should redo the bottom bracket, which inevitably will necessitate you having to redo the top mount to get them to line up so that the bag will not be in a bind
