REAR DISC BRAKES?????

I HAVE A 91 B2200 AND I WANT TO PUT DISC BRAKES IN THE REAR. I HAVE HEARD THAT A PATHFINDER REAR END WILL FIT AND I CAN KEEP THE 6 LUG PATTERN. CAN ANYONE CONFIRM THIS? ALSO I HAVE HEARD THAT THE REAR END IN THE PATHFINDER IS APPROX. 2 INCHES SHORTER.

I am fairly sure that the Pathfinder rear end will fit and you can keep the stock 6 lug pattern!

But I am not sure if its 2" narrower than a stock mazda axle!

Get ahold of v8mazda4ever on here, he has a pathfinder rear end I think?

The pathfinder axle will fit and keeps the same bolt pattern. It is around 2&quot; shorter dont know the exact differnce.

yeh i need to know this aswell cuz i want disk and i want the extra room cuz i think my wheels are gonna scrub when layed out. tires arent cheap.

ok would that be werid to have a rear that is 2 inches shorter are there different gears are the breaks in the rear smaller or bigger then the front . sry if im askin alot jus sound like a good swap last but not least does the drive shaft have to b cut down

not sure about the length of the driveshaft. i think its good. but from talkin to lance about the swap a little bit, you have to use the nissan yolk for it to work.

so how would i do that press the u joint out of my drive shaft nd press in a nissan one in the back? some one who did this should make a write up.. i found out the rear has 4:11s soo thats good wat is our stock gear ratio?

well where is lance when we need is wisdom?

the nissan pathfinder rear end will fit...... is anyone possitive on the year??? and from what I understand nissan pathfinders the risc brakes only came on the 4x4 so how should that be with the gear ratio and all????? and i also need the clearence in the rear because when laid out my tires rub on the inside of the bed. so thats why im trying to confirm the shorter axle issue. if someone has done this conversion or knows someone who has done this conversion please let me know.....thanks
