Our rears have a 3.90 gear set. I wouldnt DARE think of anything in the 4s. It screams at 70mph as it is...anything in the 4s would destroy the engine. Mazdas dont die on the farm for a reason. They die on the highway, 1 of mine did...twice.

Hey guys whats up. The rear end out of a nissan pathfinder is a perfect fit in our trucks now here are a few things you need to do. ! If you end up puttting the rear end in your truck the stock wheels from your mazda will not fit anymore. 2 If you run the e-brake you willll have to do some custom work to make them work. 3 the drive shaft you will want to cut the rear piece off that attaches to the rear end and put the nissan one on and the last thing is gearing with this rear end you will want to change the gearing in the pumpkin but what is nice there are alot of different gears to put in them if yopu want any more info give me a pm and a number to reach you guys at but this rear end is sweet and can take alot more abuse than our stock plus now you have a 4 wheel disk brake unit and all I spent was like $75.00 bucks and I wll be spending abit more to have abig brake kit added.

Why won't the wheels fit anymore? Won't clear the caliper?

yeh thats prolly the reason it wont fit. say lance is that rear end a leaf spring rearend or was it a 2 link rear end? and if it was a leaf rearend are the leaf spring mounts in the same location as the mazda one? im doing my first bag job and want to set the 4-link up while its still attached to the leaf springs so i can minimize alignment issues.
