i think you are talking about the rod that goes from the lower controlarm to the frame uder the core support.

my bro is talking about the steering arm. its got like a big castls nut n cotter pin in it. or maybe its like a sway bar. anyway, hopefully that can help a bit til he gets the pics up. Oh yeah Tim, man my B sounds so smooth now, and the Z-wheels lok great!! Amazing what a new water pump and timing adjust will do do!

Well, the driver side arm there is called your Pitman Arm. It is for your steering. The other arm just like it on the passenger side is the Idler Arm.

Now, if you've got any slop in these components you need to raplace them. As well look at the sway bar and see if it has any play or the bushings are out on it.

You should give your whole suspension a look over and see is something is shot.

Shocks will not do this, and it may be that you have your torsions cranked down too much?

And now that I look at that pic a little more it looks like your pitman arm is hitting the strut bar. You may be too low? Are you riding bumpstops?

it doesnt have bump stops they where cut out when the ball joints where flipped and the dricer side is sitting about a quarter of an inch higher then the passanger side could it be that ive lost the tension in the torsion bar

another question to ask bro, is, why does it only rub when there is weight in the truck? Why does the other side not rub the same under the same weight?
