Ya, man, your truck is unbelievably low!

Whats the clearance with your engine crossmember to the ground?

As well, that strut bar is there to adjust your caster. You may want to look into getting an alignment for sure.

Bad alignment will wear those parts out and quit possibly thats whats wrong with the strut bar.

Have you thought about getting it taken down to an auto place and hearing what they have to say?

heck man my dime sat lower then this with a stasic drop and i never had a problem with the suspension binding see this is my first dawg so the whole torsion bar thing is throwing me off lol now would having just the top ball joints flipped and not the bottom have anything to do with this problem im having? and as far as the clearance i have no idea aint measured it yet but we do have to lift the front of the truck up just to get a floor jack under it to jack it up but its still not low enough for me cause we can still get a jack under it when we lift the front up lol i might just crank to torsion bars back up a bit to clear the sway bar cause its killing me that i aint driving it yet

your 'homies' have really bad ideas.
like hexors (and i) said it's called a strut rod and its used for caster adjustment. don't just heat shit and bend it as you see fit. dude its a critical area to be messing with...
to agree with hexors again, get an alignment. those guys (if they aren't total idiots) will be able to tell you what your issue is, or if you have bad bushings or whatnot.

my 'homies' did not come up with the idea to heat the bar that was me and like i said the whole torsion bar thing is new to me i am use to good old fashion springs like in a dime and i have done everything but bag or put juice to a dime and never had this problem before and i never had one realigned after i lowered and still didnt have this problem

What I suggested was replacing the whole tension rod with another one from a parts truck "bushing and all" it looks like someone has jacked the truck up on the tension rod and bent it. I looked at the truck at his house, not at my shop where I could tear it apart and fix it. So as for bad ideas, I think replacing the bar would be the first place to start because the front end components appear to be tight but I wouldnt know for sure without tearing it apart. As for heating and bending the tension rod I would never agree to that...

Its easy to find out if the bushing are bad.. If it looks all torn up or cracked, like dry rubber, and there is uneven crush on the bushing to one side, I'd say its bad. Especially if both sides are'nt pretty close to matching...

My first plan of action if it was my truck is to call an auto place and see if they will take a gander at it for free. Listen to what they have to say. Especially if its the guy at the shop who does the alignments all stinking day long!
