I know you guys have a rule of thumb of anything Aim makes sucks, But i was looking at the DC5000 compressors, and they dont seem half bad. Would you recommend staying away? Would your rather go with some Viar 380's or 480's. I want to go with couple compressor and keep under $500, and dont want an engine driven compressor.

like toddluck says they're customer service sucks and they're steel products they make kinda is in the same boat but the products they bring in like they're comps and other stuff are fine I would suggest checking out the new line viair is selling.

If you go with the viairs, get aftermarket check valves. The check valves in the Viair leader hoses suck. In fact, they are complete garbage. Actually, my garbage works better as a check valve.

Id go with anything but the aim compressors, they dont put out much cfm for how big they are.

In my Honda Accord, I had all AIM equipment, I had 2 DC5000s with 6 gallons of air, and I liked them, They were even 6 years old and they still pumped air great! They suck a ton of power though, You need solenoids instead of relays, But they work great

Those are the best. Hands down. And when you get a mazda with A/C...you get one with the truck. The 5XX series has 5 pistons, and the 7XX series has 7.

you could always build your own Oasis style comp. Their using a york ac pump with 12v motor. That puts out some air
