I would recommend against any blocks over 4". They cause excessive axel wrap, and make the spring pearch the lowest point on your vehicle. If you were running a 6" block and your tire were to go flat, the results would be u-bolts to pavement. NOT the kind of dragging I like!

^^^ I wouldn't run anything over a 3" block for the exact reasons above. There is a reason why they only make them so big.

Blocks should be checked and tightened monthly especially in inclimate weather where they use salt on the roads and such. Billet blocks help with steel definatly being the best. Cast blocks crack and break down over time loosening the U bolts.

check into 4x4 shops. They have angled blocks that are steel or cast iron. much better material and angled to help with driveshaft alignment and axle wrap.

Do not go six inch blocks! It is a very bad practice. Heck after seeing how alot my freinds trucks behaved with 4 inch blocks since being in this thing since 1992 I have my own rule...Nothing over a 3 inch block. Do it right people, hacking crap together is dangerous to you and others on the road!

I'm putting 2" blocks in this week, are they as easy to fit as it looks?
Also should I torque down the u-bolts or just do them up real tight.
They're the billet ones.
Sorry for asking such a noob question on someone elses post.
