i know nissan truck shocks are the smallest bore and have a good amount of stroke for the front. And you can put it closer to the pivot point on the control arm if you get too much lift for the shock. You know what i mean??

Bilstein makes a line of shocks specifically for bagged vehicles

Make sure you position them as vertical as possible, and in the front get it as close to the bj as possible...

Shocks are most effective when they are mounted perpendicular to the direction of travel, anything over 30 degrees will result in a loss of shock effectiveness..

Just some good useless knowledge to think about! Lol!

that my friend isn't useless at all. you can take that knowledge and use it to your advantage.
say you don't have room to mount that shock straight up and down, you can compensate by buying a stiffer shock and mounting it at an angle.

I guess you are right man...Lol!

You are correct you can use a stiffer shock at an angle as well, but not more than 30 degrees....
