I've been askin around tryin to find a shop that could do it around here and i haven't had much luck. I haven't called Silverstar Customs yet, they are the most reputable shop around here.

And speedster, bein centered in the wheel well is huge to me too. If it was gonna be noticable, i wasn't gonna do it.

I'm not gonna half ass anything on this truck, i was jus tryin to see if there is a cheap way to do it money wise, like hardbodys

Check out the phone book for driveline service shops, or full service brake shops. They can do it.

or check if you have a local or semi local race track... those guys have custom drivelines and rearends built... i'm sure they can recommend one or have a sponsor... if its good enough for the dudes who race it's good enough for me.

i'm assuming you'd have to do the same with the ranger rear axle as well?

Most driveshaft shops can get the aftermarket Toyota flange than will weld into your driveshaft tube. The flange is cut on a lathe to match your tube and then they weld it on and boom your done.

I had one made for my Mazda limo back in the day. They used the Toyota flange and cut it down.

The stock 86-93 Mazda driveshaft has not replaceable U-joints and so you cant do much with it. The Mazda or Toyota yoke flange is flat so it makes it easy to redrill if you need to.
