Ok, I need to triangulate my lower control arms... How did some of you guys do it if you have done it?? Or any ideas on how to place the bushing so its perfectly in line?? This was my idea...

The mounting holes on the control arm are 3/4".. And the inner sleeve on a bushing is 9/16"... So i was thinkin bout give a piece of 3/4" solid round stock to a buddy and havin him machine down bout 4" down to 9/16"... Then i could slide it into the control arm and slide the assembled bushing on.. Make my piece of tubing.. And tack in all together.. Then disassemble the bushing.. and fully weld it..

Sound like a plan???

If you guys have any pics of your, that'd be awesome.. And build pics of em too.. I don't know how many of you have em done, i haven't seen many on here.. Thanks guys

thats sounds like a good idea. we did a very similar thing when we were building the mounts for the independent suspension on my dads 510.

if you talk to seth, let him know that there is a new dark skin theme for the site because i think he left because of the site being hard on the eyes.

Ok well I got my 3/4" solid round.. I had measured the hole and it was 3/4.. so I thought, it was BARELY under 3/4... so i drilled the ca out the rest of the way so its 3/4" now, it was barely anything.. And i had to grind around the solid rod to make it smaller... it was a pain in the ass, but i fiannly got it to slide in.. it fits great on both ca's... And saturday my bddy is gonna machine the last 4" down to 9/16".. And I'm gonna order the bushings tonight

Yeah, I remember when I did my lowers I had to have the cup washers specially machined because 3/4" wouldn't work. You plan looks like it will work perfect.
