Cool! Well I'm gettin the bushings ordered and I guess I'll get em done saturday if they come that fast... I'll get the rod machined saturday... and i'll finish the arms once the bushings get here..

Thats a different way of approaching this...

Josh, sorry I don't have any pics here at work but I have seen this done one other way. Instead of a rubber bushing on the triangulated portion the installer used a rod end (heim joint). This allowed for some adjustability for caster in addition to the caster adjustment you can get with the upper control arm. The factory strut rud is adjustable so it would make some sense to make the triangulated portion adjustable also. Just my 0.02

so youre using the rod as a means to keep the new triangulated piece and the factory arm mounting points the at the same point? thats a good idea.

Thats a good idea... maybe I could use the adjustable bushing ends???

I have a piece of 3/4" rod that is machined down the the metric bolt size of 18 mm. And I have a piece of 1.5" round stock with a 3/4" hole bored in it that holds the outer bushing sleeve. Basically the same as yours, but I use a steel bushing instead of the poly one so that I can weld it solid on the jig without melting the bushing or having to pull it out after tacking it and hoping it stays straight. Which it won't.

usually when you triangulate you either can bend some tubing and weld it off the actual control arm and then take some 4 link tabs and weld those to the frame and on the end of the tubing you put a std 4 link end on it. i know alot of nissans and yotas do it this way unless i am lost by what you want but the title says triangulate control arms which this is what it would be.
i cant find any pics right this second but i guess it is how you decide to do it...cause it has been a long time since i built a mazda so i may not be up on everythign right now
