Just started tacking in my bag plates tonight and can't get the airbag to collapse right unless this is ok or normal. I have 19" rims with slam re6 bags. It looks fine at ride height but when i lower it more the lower control arm comes in more and it just doesn't look right to me. What can I do to fix this or have you guys had the same problem?
The upper bag plate can't go in anymore or the bag with rub against the frame when laid out and i can't really bring my lower bag plate out more or else it will be in the way of my lower ball joint. I'm not sure how to angle them differently either or if that will even help.

Angle the upper plate up more, and move the lower plate out towards the wheel more. You can put a spacer under the lower plate to get it above the balljoint.

i agree with elbine. . It looks like you have plenty of room to move your lower plate out more. . . And jus make the upper and lower brackets the same angle. . and centered over each other. . You def DO NOT want the bag pancaking like that. . . It will wear it out really fast. .
Notching into the frame is another option but that'll create alot mor work for you. . But you will get better lift. . . Thats how I did mine and I'm clearin my tires by about 2". . . AFTER my 3.25" bodydrop. .

yeah there's actually suposed to be 2 bolts here i just didn't have them in for the pics, I'd rather not notch the frame so i'm gonna add a spacer there and bring the lower plate out further. and i'm flippin' my lower ball joint that way i can put the screws in from underneath.

Keep in mind adding that spacer and moving the bottom bag mount out will change how much lift you get. So if you are just clearing your tire you may run into problems.

Another option is to reangle the low bracket and notch the lower arm. I did this with mine. I also moved it in and notched my frame though....
They way the bag plate sits you could easily leave the plate and drill another hole closer to the lower BJ to move your bag out. Hope this helps or gives you another option.
