hey im new on this forum but i wanna learn so yea the question is what is the best method of droppin my trucc ive done 4 inch blocks and pull 2 leafs with drop shox but i wanna know if 3 inch drop leafs would make a difference in ryde quality and what about droppin the front? other than crankin torsions and drop shocks whats a better choice for the smoothest ryde?

the smoothest RIDE would be to bag it man.
guess you wanna stay with static tho? depends how low you wanna go. seems like you wanna get way down there so i'd notch your frame. that'll help your ride quality right there, because i imagine your smackin the axle on the frame all the time. it'd be bitchin to get lowered leafs, but you can get the same effect pulling leafs as you mentioned you already did. get some drop spindles for the front or dropped control arms. that'll get you a little bit extra without sacrificing any ride quality. you might wanna get some stiffer shocks, to help avoid bottoming out.

just use the main spring and the over load best ride

index the torsions over drop spindles....the spindles push the wheel out some and then runs risk of scraping rim against the fender.

doing the index on the torsions is just as fast as doing the cranking on the torsion adjustor...only adds a few minutes of time....me and my bud did it and were done in minutes...although yes I had the advantage of a full shop and lifts and air tools...but even doing it with hand tools it could be done is about a hour.

Just make sure you mark your torsions BEFORE you pull em to index em....that way you can count the amount of splines....and if I remember correctly...each spline is roughly 1" of drop...so there you just have to count...4 splines...roughly 4" of drop...and you keep a NICE ride....I ride awesome...so well I am gonna drop even more now

ok so re index the torsions and where can i get a order a good set of spindles? i heard people say u need to run at least 17 in rims? dont know if its true but...and whats a good brand of drop shocks i can put in the front and back i had toxics but they didnt make the ryde all that better

i went with drop spindles and left the torsion bars alone. it makes the ride way smoother than cranking those things down. you could always do both. you just have to watch your wheel clearance and you may wont to roll your fenders.

yeah i think i wanna get sum u know where i could get some spindles??

i'm not sure. they were pretty hard to find and the website i ordered them off of is owned my a different company.

ooo ok is there a minimum size rim i gotta use to run the spindles? i wus gonna run like 16s or 17s for now thats y

i have the stock 14" that barely fit. the orignal 14" stock rims i had on my truck were too small. so i would go with nothing smaller than 15's
