When i removed leaves from my rear end.. the 2 leaves that i left in were the main leaf, and the one underneath it (the top 2 in the pack).... would my truck be lower if i took out the second leaf and replaced it witth the overload leaf?

Don't think it'll be as low with just the mono and overload. Just do the mono and overload really. It's the preferred set up for a reason I believe.

i think maybe like 1/2 inch. or so. but you're probably on the bumpstops already if you've done 3 inch blocks too.

yes main and overload give the lowest hight and the best ride but mono will be lower but hella not safe cool

Yeah, im on 3" blocks also with shaved bumpstops.. but i think im going to change out my helper leaf for the overload..seems to be the best/lowest route...thanks guys

I have 3" blocks and one leaf out and she is ok (w/super small bump stops), I even throw dirt bikes in da back from time to time... think I have almost 2" of travel before severe spinal injury.

I have 3" blocks in back and all the factory leaves and i've got an inch or less of clearance at the bumpstop. I think my leafsprings are old and sagging. I plan on removing at least one leaf shortly, but did I understand you guys right? It is better to remove all except main and overload?

Here is how it sits right now....... the front is about an inch lower, but gonna re-index and flip the ball joints shortly........ Please don't laugh too hard at my hoopty!

3" blocks and just the main leaf and overload. 14" wheels with 205/65/14 rubber. Have maybe an inch of travel before I bottom out.

Dang g, thats like no travel w. 4" blocks, I am just about sittin on the bumbs up front... I think I am gonna do the ball joint flip just for a lil more wiggle room... my ball joints look like crap anyway. I had to change my idler arm 2 nights ago because the bushings were shot and notice the joints... agh... more money!

You find a motor yet?

We need to head up a mini-truck meet/show/cruise when you et rollin again!
