How to swap rear brake drums?

Alright well i have never had a car with drum brakes before. I purchased new shoes and springs/hardware and am looking to remove the outer drum to access these parts. Do i have to just remove the two screws on the face of the drum? I have done so and still cant get the drum off. Do i have to remove the 4 larger bolts on the inside? I had thought they have to do with the inner axles. Two screws on one drum Are completely corroded and wont come out with a screw driver, What is the best solution? Do the screws just hold the drum to the inner portion?

And i know this isn't suspension related but its close to the suspension

If its anything like ive done in tech class at school there is a screw somewhere that you must unscrew then you may need to hit it lightly all around the drum with a hammer to set it loose n pull it off

I have removed the screws on the face and hit it with a hammer lots from multiple angles

I could be completely off base I haven't seen my rear drum so I dont know. But for example there are 2 screws you had taken out, but there are 4 holes in the drum. Screw them back into the ones that didn't have anything in them, and it should press the face off? Just an idea, I could be wrong.

I just took the rear drums off my truck. there should be two screws but a normal screw driver probably wont take them out... a good impact screw driver will do the trick... they can be purchased at any auto zone or other parts place usually... after the two screws are out make cure your e-break is not on, then hit all around the drum with a hard plastic or rubber hammer... all around it... if that fails to work... use pb-blaster on (getting around all the lug bolts and the center wheel barring) it let it soak in over night and repeat the beating with a hammer process.... again if that fails the shoe might have worn so much into the drum that it is actually holding the drum on in a stuck position.... (thats what was wrong with mine) use a good sized flat screw driver and slowly and gently work all around the drum back side "prying" it gently until it starts to make its way out... its a shitty process but it works... good luck.

There is 2 threaded holes on the drum itself that you thread bolts into and will pull the drum of the hub. Just do each side a little at a time and it will come right off. Dont hammer on or pry on it your just going to end up bending/breaking something. This is all after you take the screws out too. Best thing to do to get the screws out is get an impact driver like suggested above.

they have the driver set at autozone for 9.99

I never realized that's what those other holes were for.. if it works that easy I'm sure it beats the bag off what I had to do to get the drums off.... I just took my time and didn't break anything but it did suck.

Alright on my one side my screws came out clean bit the other they are corroded and dont think they are coming out in one piece. As of now I'm contemplating notching them to accept a larger flat head screwdriver/impact bit but either way I'm going to have to buy an impact driver if i EVER want these to come out. Any one suggestions on getting these screws out?

you could drill them out. sounds like they are not going to be very useful after this anyways.
