okay so i lowered my truck with 3" blocks in the rear and just cranked the tortion bars in the front.
but my tire wear is horrible.... ive got the truck off the road while im rebuilding the motor but
i kinda want the suspension done the same time.... what the best way to lower the front so i can crank
my tortion bars back up and any other way to lower the back more? id prefer to not have to be cutting and
welding the frame so any other ways to do it?

get some drop spindles for the front, and take a leaf or two out of the pack depending on how much further your looking to lower the rear. make sure you leave that overload spring in.

if you get drop spindles i think you have to have 17in rims or bigger. i left my stock rims/tires on for a few just to move her around and the spindle rubs the inner part of the rim. so we put on my buddys 16s and they did they same thing. so i think its 17s or larger.

hunter is totally right, I had the drop spindles in with my z71 16" wheels and they rubbed, so yeh 17s or bigger with lowered spindles, then use drop shocks and reindex the torsions, cut the bumpstops out and flip the lower ball joint as part of the spindle install, here is the comprimise though, if you use larger wheels you lose drop, also , spindles push the wheels out about an inch, they do help offset neg camber though

I reccommend using the bell tech mono leafs ,bumpstops shaved down, and drop shocks again. always use new u bolts!

I didn't know that about the spindles good thing I read this before ordering biggest I got is a 16inch wheel.. =o

yeah, they dont tell ya yer gonna need a budjet for new bigger wheels when ya order the spindles, lol

So the spindles space the wheel out? My offset is insanely perfect with the Titan 18" rims I have on the 2wd fenders and I don't want to ruin it. So if the spindles will change the offset then its a no go for me.

i cranked down my tortion bars 2 and a half inches(10 turns) and 4 inch blocks in the rear and it sits a foot of the ground all the way around

I have 18" Titans too and 4x4 sheet metal with drop spindles. If I had 2wd metal then they would definitely hit the fenders. I did not know about that either, but I had 18's and 4x4 metal before I bagged and put in the spindles. Good thiong I guess or I would have been pissed when I wasted 200 bones. -Ed
