toxic drop shocks

if the front of my truck was lowered more then 2 inches would it even make a difference if i bought the 0-2 inch front toxic drop shocks???

i dont think it would but i dont really know. i've got them on my truck now and its drops 3 inches in the front which isnt really that much and they work fine. i dont know if lowering it more would change anything though.

IMO I would stay away from Toxic shocks, they have the worst ride of just about any shock I have ever rode on. Doetsch Nitro Slammers, DJM Calmax or even Belltech nitro 2's or a shorter stock replacement. Thats if you are having bottoming out issues. Good drop shocks have better valving for lowered trucks, ride, and handling. Doetsch FTW!

I'm guessing Doetsch Tech M4039G is the model I'd be looking for? Right now I'm using the Toxic and the ride is shit as noted. But no one online shows these shocks as available. Only company even selling them is Summit, and they are not in stock.

Where would we find them?

yea im lowered 2 and a half inches up front and four in the rear and im also looking for new shocks all the way around any help will be appreciated thanks

I have sold tons of these shocks and everybody just seems to love them. I do not have a part number/ length chart tied out on the web store but I do have a print copy with part numbers and lengths here. If you have the lengths you need I can figure out which part number best fits. Shoot me an email to if you are interested.

toxics are meant to be stiff and best when you don't have much suspension travel. they will keep you from bottoming out. if you have the extra travel you probably don't want toxics.

I had Toxics on Kermit and it rode like a Cadillac. Very stiff shocks cuz they're so short, which was perfect for me with a slammed static drop. Rode much better than any other truck I've driven.

Highly recommend them.

IMO, for my application they were great. I bought them cuz everyone on here recommended them to me when I asked what shocks to get.
