you can pull the leafs it is not an unsafe thing to do.... but leave the over load spring in,( its the thick one) it will keep the axle from wraping over and yes a 3" block is all you want....cut the bumpstop down in the rear just to the point were the axle wont hit the frame

ok im getting confused now about the wear from the camber i dont want spindles and i dont want crazy camber wear either. so if you pie cut the upper control arm and pull the shims re index the tbars what else?

And YES it is unsafe to remove the leaf springs go get them de-arched they are in there to hold the load of the truck and removing leaf springs makes the back end weak. I know alot of you have done this and thats fine but do not tell people it is safe to do so. The leafs are strong when all are there and when you remove them you weaking that point in your truck. Do it but if you get a cop that knows what he is looking at they can take you in for a inspection then your screwed.
