what did you have to do to the drive shaft to get it working ?

I used a drive line out of the super coupe for the back and then used a part of the mazda drive line and then made a sleave that fit in the super coupe one and the mazda one fit in the sleave (my dad has a lathe so it was easy) i put every thing together in the truck and used a dial micromiter to tack it together and spin it to make sure it was staight. and then final welded it. It came out really good but it took me like 4 hours to do. I am planing on taking it to a driveline shop and have them make sure this one is perfect (needs some minor tweeks i think to be staight and then balanced)or to make me a new one.

I have an Rx-7 IRS in my mazda b2200. No pictures except for the camber you can see in pictures.

Since I also have a 350 chevy small block I had a larger diameter driveshaft made from scratch. Cost was not bad $180. Came with brand new front joint and they used on rear a older dodge mounting flange they said. Bolted directly up to the mazda 4 bolt flange while allowing me to carry a stronger joint.

Hope that helps.

I went 4 lug all around instead of the standard 5 lug. I then converted the rear to posi.

No they are different. The 5 lug later version has different hubs/brakes etc although they bolt onto other version. The center section is the same just depending on which gearing/internals you want. heavier center section with 3.93 gearing.
